Antique Clown Elf Doll Papier Paper Mache Head Shoulder Plate Straw Stuffed Body

Description

Wonderful antique paper mache' doll, in rare and highly desirable form of either a clown or elf.  Papier mache' shoulder plate head, unmarked, on a straw stuffed cloth body, with cloth arms and legs.  What appears to be yellow linen jumpsuit with balls down the front, and blue felt trim at the hem.  Matching blue felt overcoat with coordinating red and yellow felt bands at the cuffs.  Matching felt red oversized bow.  Matching blue cap.
Crude cloth body that is straw stuffed. Doll is approximately 11-1/2" tall
