GREINER paper mache (papier-mâché) shoulderhead:

Ext. 72 with BLONDE hair doll in all original condition. Designed and patented by
Ludwig Greiner of Philadelphia
, she has an 8 1/2" tall shoulderhead and a wonderful commercial,
horsehair-stuffed
, cloth body,
with well shaped derriere and defined waist
and
original red & white striped stocking, cloth legs with wonderful antique, red leather shoes
. She has beautiful, deeply molded curly, blond hair framing her pretty face with center-part and high forehead, (
blond models are much harder to find
) well
molded eyelids
and painted blue eyes with lots of detail, eyelashes, brows and sweet little mouth. Her original
leather hands have wonderful long finger detail
and she wears layers of charming, antique undies including lace trimmed and pleated, petticoat, bloomers and stockings beneath her absolutely
charming two-part, striped taffeta, lined period dress with lots and lots of wonderful pleated trim
. She has had
no repairs or repaint and is in wonderful condition (although there appears to be a small spot on her forehead)
. She has no cracks or dents, no splits, no damages or odors and is from a smoke free home. Her stuffing is still firm and she'll fill up an old rocking chair very nicely! Her current blue book value is over ,000.
