Condition: The music box is not working. It has been over wound. The songs are taped to the bottom. The interior lining shows some staining and wear. There appears to be glue or tape residue attached to the inside rim. We have not attempted to clean or remove.

Vintage etched silver Fred Zimbalist musical Thorens stein. The piece is elaborate and beautiful. There is a music box attached at the base. The music box is currently not working. It is overwound. The etched design is intricate. It is textured. Open the lid to reveal a blue plastic liner. The liner shows some tape or glue residue we have not attempted to clean. There is one rubbed spot towards the bottom where the etching is not showing. Review images for details. The piece measures: height 9". The piece has more weight than you might expect. The songs on the music box are: hail hail the gang's all here and her he's a jolly good fellow.
